About the role:

Velatir is building a B2B SaaS product with active customers and growing traction. As the product scales, design plays a key role in shaping how intuitive, coherent, and compelling the experience becomes.

As our Senior Product Designer, you’ll own design across the product - from UX and interaction design to UI and visual quality. You’ll step into a live product with a solid foundation and help evolve it into a more consistent, scalable, and high-quality experience. This includes improving flows, introducing structure through a design system, and raising the overall bar for how the product looks and feels.This is a senior, hands-on role with a lot of autonomy. You’ll work closely with founders, the CPO, and engineers in our Odense office, with real influence on product decisions. While the visual identity isn’t a blank slate, there’s room to refine and elevate it where it adds value - creativity and strong design taste are very much part of the role.

 

What you'll do:

• Own end-to-end product design across a production B2B SaaS product
• Improve UX across key flows, interactions, and information architecture
• Raise visual quality through thoughtful layouts, hierarchy, and component design
• Design and establish a scalable design system to support future growth
• Balance quick, pragmatic improvements with longer-term design foundations
• Work closely with founders, CPO, and engineers to shape solutions from idea to release
• Conduct user research and usability testing with existing customers
• Improve onboarding, activation, and in-app experiences to support product-led growth
• Contribute a strong design perspective to product strategy and roadmap discussions
• Take initiative and drive design work without relying on detailed specs

 

What we're looking for:

 

• Senior-level experience as a Product Designer on SaaS products
• A portfolio that demonstrates strong UX thinking and high-quality visual execution
• Proven experience improving and evolving existing products, not only greenfield work
• Experience creating or scaling design systems in real-world products
• Strong sense of visual craft - you care about layout, typography, hierarchy, and detail
• Ability to create distinctive, polished interfaces without defaulting to generic patterns
• Experience designing self-serve products, onboarding, and activation flows
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and making informed design decisions independently
• Highly autonomous - you take responsibility for outcomes, not just outputs
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and modern design workflows
• Clear communicator who can explain and defend design decisions
• Startup mindset: pragmatic, curious, and willing to go beyond a narrow role
• Able to work hybrid with a minimum of 3-days in office per week.
