Support Counseling for Relatives in Odense Municipality.
The Support Counseling service is available to you if you are over 18, live in Odense, and are a relative of someone with mental, physical, and/or social challenges. For example, you may have a parent, friend, sibling, or spouse who is going through a difficult time.
When you are close to someone who is struggling and you feel that it affects you, you can always contact the Support Counseling service.
Conversations and Counseling
You have the option to engage in personal conversations with the support counselors. The conversation will focus on you and your situation. The purpose of the conversation is to help you gain more clarity about the challenges or difficulties you are facing. You can also receive advice on how best to manage daily life as a caregiver.
The conversation is free, and we offer interpreters. Our counseling is anonymous, and we do not use your personal information.

Support for people close to someone struggling is a free offer for you who are 18 years or older, live in Odense, and are close to someone facing psychological, physical, and/or social challenges. This could be a parent, friend, sibling, or spouse who is struggling.
If you’re close to someone who is having a hard time and you feel that it’s affecting you, you can always reach out to our service.
We offer personal conversations and counseling at Vollsmose Library on the last Tuesday of every month from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
The first session is on August 26, 2025. You need to book an appointment in advance.
The conversation is free, and we offer interpretation services. Our counseling is anonymous. We are not an authority, but we can refer you to relevant services and resources.
