Odense has links to 20 twin cities all over the world. And during the course of a typical year, the council will be in contact with - or engaged in some form of project - around 13-15 of them.
Such contacts will often involve exchange schemes for personnel from local educational institutes, clubs and societies, businesses and suchlike. There are also contacts with our twin cities in a more official capacity, which often involve frequent visits to Odense by foreign delegations from our twin towns and other places around the world. A major part of the Town Hall’s work on the international front consists of hosting a large number of receptions for foreign guests each year.
