City Government and Administration

Odense Municipality is governed by a council with 29 members and five specialist committees. Each committee is chaired by a councillor and the Finance Committee is chaired by the mayor. The council is elected for a four-year term.

Odense Council meet every other Wednesday at 5.00 pm at the Town Hall. The public part of the meetings can be watched from the public gallery on the second floor.
