Civil registry number - CPR number
If you have just arrived in Odense and have received a recidence permit, you need to register at:

At the Citizen Service Center you will receive a civil registry number - CPR number - which will serve as your future personal identification number.
It is important that you obtain this personal identification number as soon as possible since it is used by the entire public administation in Denmark as well as private companies, including all the leading banks and insurers.

When applying for a CPR-number, please remember to bring along your passport and recidence permit.
